Dragyn Jane

- Storyteller, Fantasy Author, professional Game Master and lover of all things nerd.

Born and raised in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Dragyn's lifelong passion for mythology and fantasy quickly blossomed into a remarkable talent for immersive storytelling.

Armed with a deep understanding of the old Norse religion, Dragyn wrote his debut series, Harbingers of Ragnarok, a series of novels which introduces and ultimately seeks to set the foundations for a new, Norse Inspired, Technofantasy setting, Hymgard. This setting is also the setting for Dragyn’s short stories, The Test & Eye of the Storm, which can be found here on his website.

Outside of his written work, you can also usually find Dragyn playing and running Tabletop RPG’s. Whether it be as the Gamemaster for his streamed campaign, Echoes of Ragnarok, at conventions like PAX, or for his Ko-fi supporters on Discord.

Dragyn also enjoys music, specifically metal, though he does have a soft spot for old school hip hop, as well as drawing, food and hanging with his friends.

Anyway, Dragyn is really tired of writing about himself in the third person now, so how about you go check out the rest of my website.

Heavy Metal Game Master

- A journey that should have started a lot earlier

I was first introduced to the concept of TTRPG’s when I was thirteen. My best friend’s dad found out that I was writing stories and gifted me a large collection of 3rd edition Dungeons & Dragons books, which I still own.
Despite having these at my fingertips, I was unable to wrap my head around the concept.

My first game would come much later, well into my twenties, and I was hooked immediately. Soon I had started running games and the rest, as they say, is history.

Despite my late start, in 2020, I started my journey as a content creator, first with Tiktok and eventually expanding to other platforms to continue my content journey.

I look forward to seeing what the future holds and hope to finish at least a few of the various projects I have brewing.
